About Annette Cañeda
Dr. Annette Cañeda teaches business communications at San Francisco State University and also develops professional leadership programs at the University of California, San Francisco. She has worked in the field of learning and development for more than 20 years for a variety of industries.
Annette earned a doctor of education in organization and leadership from the University of San Francisco, a master of science in environmental and industrial hygiene from the University of Cincinnati, and a bachelor of science in microbiology from the University of Washington.
Annette grew up in San Francisco, attending public schools like John McLaren Elementary, James Denman Junior High, and graduating from Lowell High School. While raising her son and daughter in the city, she served as the PTA board president for three years at their K through eight Catholic school before they moved on to attend Lowell High.
Annette believes in a systems approach to change, and she values the diversity of voices at the table to help take the "right" action.
