Good nutrition and academic success go hand in hand!
We are dedicated to our students' health, well-being, and their ability to learn, and we support academic success by providing healthy meal choices while promoting lifelong nutrition and fitness practices. Therefore, we are excited that we participate in the California Universal Meals Program.
Delicious and Nutritious Meals
Revolution Foods provides all of the delicious meals we enjoy at TECA. We’re proud to say that Revolution Foods meals:
- Are low in fat—including trans fats—and sugar
- Use whole grains, fresh produce, and antibiotic-free, hormone-free meat
- Feature hormone- and rBST-free milk
We participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The NSLP is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low cost or free meals to qualifying students. The food and beverages we sell or serve on our campuses meet the state and federal requirements, which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.
All families must fill out a Free & Reduced Price Meal Application. We ask that you complete one at your earliest convenience if you have not already done so. Please note that all students will be offered breakfast and lunch free of cost regardless of their eligibility after having completed this form. By completing the Free & Reduced Price Meal Application, TECA is able to receive funds for our operations. This form can be scanned & emailed to [email protected] mailed to the school’s main office 3531 22nd St. San Francisco, CA 94114, or dropped off in person. If you have any questions contact Monica Gomez at (415) 872-5239.
