Non-Discrimination Policy

Because we are an open enrollment public school committed to equal opportunity, the school is non-sectarian and employs no admissions exams or special admissions requirements. Admission to the school is open to all students on a non-discriminatory basis without regard to race, color, national origin, creed, sex, ethnicity, behavior, age, ancestry, proficiency in English language, academic achievement, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability. Thomas Edison Charter Academy admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

TECA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, ethnicity, behavior, age, ancestry, proficiency in English language, academic achievement, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs. TECA is open to all students, including immigrants and students who are not U.S. citizens.
